What is Hindley Rotary club & what do they do?
Or who are those people who stand outside Tesco every Christmas?
The Hindley club is a group of men and women who raise money and offer their services to various organisations within the Hindley borough and some international causes.
The club meet on Tuesday evening at 7:30 in the Bellingham Hotel (opp Wigan Infirmary.) We enjoy a meal, guest speakers and discuss club & fundraising activities.
Our members come from a wide social background including - Doctors, Builders, Engineers, Driving instructors, Shop keepers, undertakers & Farmers.

Fundraising & Community events include – Hindley Rotary bottle stalls at the Wigan & Leigh Hospice summer & Christmas fair’s. The Hindley stall consistently raises the most money. In 2008
the two stalls raised over £1000 for the Hospice.
